Machine Operative (FLT Counterbalance)

Location: LS10, Leeds
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30pm – 6:30am
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Machine Operative Required – Immediate Start Available

Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in LS10, Leeds, is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance Licence to join their night shift team.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent night shift role working a 4-day week, offering long weekends and a stable working environment.

The Role

As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for supporting production operations while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained at all times.

Key duties include:

• Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery
• Loading and unloading materials using a Counterbalance FLT
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products
• Ensuring production targets are achieved
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Reporting any machine faults or production issues
• Following all health and safety procedures

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid FLT Counterbalance Licence
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience operating machinery is desirable
• Good attention to detail
• Strong reliability and timekeeping
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Package

• £13.00 per hour
• Permanent night shift
• Monday to Thursday working pattern
